For her second couture show, newcomer Bouchra Jarrar, currently the only female couture designer, presented a collection of clean-cut Parisian Chic designs. Jarrar said, "I'm fascinated by asymmetry. I'm looking for the harmony in asymmetry, because this is life, I think." Asymmetry was exactly what she demonstrated as models walked down the runway in impeccably tailored outfits that although were asymmetrical, still seemed to be perfectly balanced on the silhouette of the female body. Before entering the small would of couture designers (there are only 9) Jarrar worked at Christian Lacroix and Balenciaga. Here is her second couture show.
